Germany is the world’s 4th largest music market, and schlager is big.

“Germans view Schlager as their Country Music and in fact American Country and TexMex are both major elements in the Schlager culture (Is This the Way to Amarillo is regularly played in Schlager contexts, usually in the English original).” (wikipedia)

Germany’s 2015 ECHO music awards might easily been entitled “Schlager night,” Andreas won first time out in 2012, and has been a runner up more than once since. This time he nailed down the Volksmusik category, edging out Santiano, Die Amigos, VoxxClub and Kastelruther Spatzen.

The New Album Mountain Man Songs: 1. WE SALUTE YOU, 2. VERLIEBT VERLIEBT, 3. MOUNTAIN MAN, 4. ES WIRD ALLES WIEDER GUT, 5. DAS KLEINE HAUS, 6. HULAPALU, 7. KÖNIGIN DER ALPEN, 8. DIRNDL LIEBEN, 9.
